Dawson Road Maintenance is looking for an experienced Road Foreperson to lead essential road safety initiatives in Alexis Creek, BC. This full time position emphasizes team leadership and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Superintendent, Roads, you will be responsible for supervising maintenance crews and subcontractors in the service area.
Your comprehensive understanding of road maintenance and adherence to MoTT specifications will guide your interactions with stakeholders and other agencies to ensure seamless operations. Key Responsibilities:
Lead maintenance crews effectively on site
Prioritize the safety of all team members
Communicate with external stakeholders and authorities
Manage and record work efficiency and compliance
Operate maintenance equipment as necessary Requirements:
Minimum of three years in a management role
Five years of road maintenance experience required
Valid Class 3 Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement
Required clean driver's abstract
