Manafold Games is looking for a 3D artist to help build an open world PC RPG.

The position is a Game Artist Generalist. You will be required to work on character and in game items.

Skills Required:
Classical art skills (sketching via paper, tablet or otherwise)
Skilled at low poly retopology to optimize meshes to preserve their silhouette
Skilled at UV layouts to optimize texture space
Skilled at painting in substance painter

Nice to have, but not required:
Experience with FX work in Niagara
Character rigging, and animation experience
Experience with landscapes and settings in unreal

Experience Required:
Experience in Unreal Engine 5.
Experience in Substance Painter.
Modelling in 3d software of your choice (max,maya,blender, etc)




Selected candidates will be contacted to complete an at home test to show they can sketch, retopologize, and paint in substance.

Compensation: The compensation is 60k annually, with a 60k equivalent bonus on top of this, awarded for job performance and is conditional on the success of the game at launch. This is a small startup, with a startup culture. Therefore, the work is very challenging, but there is also a large potential reward–with position and compensation.
