Incident Response Analyst (AI Training) About The Role We're partnering with leading AI research labs to build the next generation of AI-powered security tools — and we need experienced security professionals to make it happen. As an Incident Response Analyst, you'll apply your hands-on SOC and IR expertise to evaluate, challenge, and improve AI systems designed to detect threats, correlate alerts, and support digital investigations. Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze realistic security events, alerts, and incident cases to evaluate AI-generated responses
Assess root cause analysis, impact determinations, and remediation recommendations produced by AI
Review and critique detection rules, alerting pipelines, and investigative playbooks
Verify that AI-driven incident analysis reflects how real security operations teams work
Provide structured, expert feedback that directly improves AI model accuracy and reliability
Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments Who You Are 2+ years of experience in a SOC, incident response, or security operations role
Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, alert queues, and investigation tooling
Robust ability to triage alerts, distinguish real threats from noise, and determine incident scope
Comfortable documenting findings clearly and concisely
Self-motivated and reliable in a remote, async work workplace
No prior AI experience required — your security expertise is what matters Nice to Have Experience with EDR, SOAR, or threat intelligence platforms
Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK; or NIST IR
Background in digital forensics, malware analysis, or threat hunting
