Responsibilities
Provide attentive supervision and care for children in their home environment, ensuring safety at all times
Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs and preferences
Engage children in educational activities, playtime, and age-appropriate teaching to support their development
Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, nap times, and hygiene practices
Maintain a clean and organized living space by performing regular cleaning tasks related to childcare
Adapt caregiving approaches to meet the individual needs of children with disabilities or special requirements
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children’s progress, activities, and any concerns
Skills
Proven experience working with children across various age groups in a caregiving or teaching capacity
Ability to cook nutritious meals and snacks suitable for children’s dietary restrictions or preferences
Experience working with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating patience and adaptability
Solid cleaning skills to maintain a secure, hygienic setting for children
Knowledge of caregiving best practices including safety protocols, child development milestones, and emergency procedures
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and support children's learning journeys
Passionate about teaching, nurturing, and creating positive experiences that foster growth and confidence
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
