To grow our U.S. organization, we are seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join our team at our US headquarters in Troy, Michigan .

Your Impact
As an Application Engineer , you play a vital role in ensuring customer success and strengthening SensoPart's technical reputation in the U.S. market.
You will:
- evaluate customer applications and conduct feasibility studies using SensoPart vision systems and sensor technologies
- develop and validate technical solutions for integration into PLC- and robot-controlled environments
- support customers during implementation and commissioning
- troubleshoot applications both remotely and on-site
- deliver technical training and product demonstrations to customers and distributors
- build trade show demo systems and support technical marketing initiatives
- collaborate closely with our engineering team in Germany on complex technical topics
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s / Masters's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- experience with machine vision systems or optical sensors
- extensive experience in factory automation or similar environments (no entry position)
- hands-on experience with PLC and/or robot programming
- strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- ability to work independently in customer-facing technical situations
- clear communication skills and a structured working style
- willingness to travel 20-30%
