You will support leaders, front-line teams, and the QE team to foster positive, lasting change within our communities.About The RoleThis role can be performed remotely within BC, with regular travel to our communities in Kelowna, the Lower Mainland, and Victoria for on-site support.The position focuses on leading accreditation efforts, managing quality processes, and developing education and training programs. You will create clinical and safety guidelines, work closely with the QE team, regulatory bodies, and community teams to develop educational resources, implement quality initiatives, and ensure compliance with standards. The role includes providing leadership, mentorship, and professional development to team members, maintaining high standards of care, and using data-driven strategies for continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Leadership:Lead accreditation activities for Assisted Living communitiesDevelop research-based educational materials to meet clinical needsSupport ongoing quality improvements to enhance care and servicesConsult on clinical practice and scope of practice with regulatory bodiesEducation and Training:Assess educational needs and develop resources accordinglyOversee programs to meet legislative, provincial,



and accreditation standardsEvaluate the effectiveness of educational initiativesLeadership and Collaboration:Serve as a clinical best practices expert and assist in policy developmentCollaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver consistent education and quality programsModel servant leadership, fostering positive relationships with residents, families, and staffAdditional Responsibilities:Conduct practice gap assessments and environmental scansUtilize data analytics to enhance safety and qualityDevelop and implement comprehensive quality and safety plans aligned with organizational goalsRequirementsHealthcare-related degree (e.G., RN, Dietitian, OT, PT) requiredMaster's degree in Nursing, Education, or related field with clinical experience preferredGerontology certification or equivalent experience working with seniorsMinimum 5 years healthcare leadership experience, preferably in long-term or assisted livingExpertise in program development and facilitation (e.G., wound care, diabetes, falls prevention)Familiarity with accreditation processes and healthcare standardsStrong understanding of RAI and MDSProven project management and change leadership skillsExcellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and digital toolsWilling to travel up to 40% of the timeAbout YouYou are an experienced healthcare leader passionate about quality, safety, and lifelong learning.
