Join Brock University as a Teaching Assistant for the Game Studies program in St. Catharines, Ontario. This role requires in-depth knowledge of interactive media and a robust commitment to student success.
The selected candidate will engage in teaching interactions and administrative duties, including preparation of course materials and grading of assignments. You will guide students through their academic journey while contributing to department initiatives aimed at fostering inclusivity and diversity as outlined by the CUPE4207 agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct scheduled student contact sessions
• Prepare and assist with course materials and seminars
• Evaluate and provide feedback on student work




• Oversee examinations during course assessments
• Hold office hours for student queries and support
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in game design, media, or a related discipline
• Experience creating virtual environments in a professional setting
• Documented teaching effectiveness through references
• Ability to assist in course administration tasks
• Passion for creating an inclusive educational environment
