Arcadis Environmental Specialist – Manitoba The role is a full‑time position within our Environmental Restoration group supporting power and energy, freight rail, and industrial projects from a technical standpoint. Lead client and regulatory correspondence and interactions.
Evaluate data to develop conceptual site models for environmental investigations.
Delineate the nature and extent of contamination, evaluate and implement remedial alternatives, and modify or optimize remediation and monitoring programs as needed.
Write and review technical reports; train, coach, and mentor staff on consulting best practices and business growth goals.
Identify opportunities to develop a solid professional profile through conference presentations, publications, and participation on technical committees.
Prepare specialist elements of bids to support high‑quality, winning proposals.
Serve as a visible steward of Health & Safety by completing required stewardship goals and modeling H&S; practices. Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science,



Engineering or closely related field; 10 or more years of relevant science experience, including leadership of the development and implementation of specialist solutions. ~ Detailed knowledge of national standards and codes of practice, including applicable provincial and federal regulations. ~ Excellent technical writing skills; Solid communication, interpersonal and writing skills; robust proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
