Job Summary

Duties
Research potential funding sources using databases and other resources to identify grant opportunities aligned with organizational goals
Develop transparent, persuasive grant proposals and supporting documents that meet funder requirements
Maintain accurate records of grant applications, deadlines, and outcomes within databases such as Raiser's Edge or similar CRM systems
Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information and data to strengthen proposals
Monitor and report on grant progress, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements




Assist in crafting marketing materials to promote the organization’s mission to potential funders and stakeholders
Build and nurture relationships with current and prospective funders through effective communication and stewardship efforts

Experience
Proven experience in grant writing, research, or fundraising roles, preferably within nonprofit organizations or similar sectors
Strong familiarity with databases such as Raiser's Edge or comparable CRM platforms for tracking grants and donor information
Excellent research skills to identify new funding opportunities across diverse sources
Effective communication skills for writing compelling proposals and engaging with stakeholders
Knowledge of marketing principles to enhance proposal presentation and organizational visibility
Customer service mindset to build positive relationships with funders, partners, and internal teams
