Duties
Support classroom teachers by preparing materials and resources for French lessons
Assist in delivering engaging language activities tailored to early childhood education standards
Work directly with children to practice conversational French, pronunciation, and vocabulary building
Help create a positive, inclusive setting that encourages participation from all students
Support students with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, ensuring equitable access to learning
Reinforce classroom rules and routines to promote a safe and respectful learning atmosphere
Collaborate with teachers and staff to track student progress and provide feedback on language development
Cleaning duties: mopping, dusting, tidying up the classroom
Indoor and outdoor supervision
Assisting the children in the washroom
Skills
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, teachers, and parents
Passion for teaching languages and working with young learners
Experience working with children, including those with disabilities or special needs
Knowledge of basic math concepts to support integrated learning activities
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs and learning styles
