Join our dynamic team as a Finance/HR Assistant and become a vital contributor to our organization’s financial and human resources functions! This energetic role offers an exciting prospect to support payroll processing, employee relations, talent acquisition, and HR management. You will play a key part in streamlining administrative processes, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with HR policies.

Duties
Take lead on employee events – planning, budget, shopping etc.
Organize peer to peer recognition program
Assist employees and managers with ADP log in or time punch issues
Review time banks and create reports
Maintain emergency evacuation employee list
Maintain employee memo boards and communication outlets
Onboard employees to benefits and RSP program
Attend job fairs and present opportunities at RITZ
Write job adds and advertise openings
Sort through applicants and push to appropriate managers
Assist in recent hire relocation and onboarding
Create funding remittances




Execute payables function
Assist other Finance and HR positions

Requirements
Familiarity with payroll systems including (direct knowledge of ADP would be an asset)
Familiar with Microsoft Office
Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently
Knowledge of human resources management practices such as recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and talent sourcing
Administrative experience in data collection, record keeping, and document management

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
