Duties
Assist with food production and meal preparation in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards
Serve meals to residents in a courteous and timely manner, ensuring proper portioning and presentation
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas through regular sanitation, cleaning, and bussing duties
Handle food safely by following proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Support the dietary department by assisting with inventory management and restocking supplies
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ needs with kindness and professionalism
Experience
Previous experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is preferred
Experience in food handling, food preparation, or culinary roles is highly valued
Familiarity with dietary department operations or dietetics is a plus
Robust time management skills to efficiently handle meal service schedules
Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures
Prior dietary aide or food service experience demonstrates reliability and dedication to resident care
