This permanent position focuses on producing and managing the short-term production schedule, ensuring safety and quality in mining operations. You'll report directly to the Senior Mining Engineer and will be responsible for maintaining two-week schedules, optimizing material movements, and supporting daily activities.
A bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering is required, along with experience in open-pit mining. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain secure and productive mining schedules
Create drilling and ore blend plans for production
Optimise waste dump designs and material movements
Manage all planning outputs including updates
Provide planning support for short-term infrastructure Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or similar
Relevant experience in mining design and scheduling
Familiar with Vulcan and Alastri software tools
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
