Join the District of Summerland as a Distribution Coordinator in the vibrant Okanagan Valley. This role focuses on planning and executing electrical distribution projects for reliable utility operations.

As part of the Electrical Utility team, you'll report to the Director of Utilities and coordinate both overhead and underground electrical work. This position is pivotal in delivering construction projects and overseeing service request construction, ensuring that utility standards are consistently met while collaborating with contractors and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:



• Coordinate electrical distribution project planning and execution • Support line crews and field operations actively • Oversee construction for service requests and project deliveries • Ensure compliance with utility safety and efficiency standards • Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal departments

Requirements: • Journeyman Powerline Technician or Industrial Electrician Red Seal • Electrical Engineering Technologist Diploma preferred • Valid BC Class 5 Driver's Licence required • Solid organizational and communication skills essential • Field Safety Representative Class A designation is an asset
