Driftwood Diamond Drilling is looking for motivated, reliable individuals to join our surface drilling crews as Driller’s Helpers.

This is a solid opportunity for someone who wants to learn the trade, work in incredible mountain environments, and be part of a crew built on integrity, efficiency, and safety.

About the Role

As a Driller’s Helper, you’ll support the driller with daily operations, site safety, equipment handling, and general duties around the drill.

What Driftwood Offers

Compensation
$29.00 per hour
Meterage bonuses paid on every cheque
Overtime paid after 8 hours
Paid travel days
Flights, accommodations, and per diem while traveling.

Schedule & Rotation
28 days on / 14 days off
12‑hour day and night shifts
Remote camp work in stunning northern BC environments

Key Responsibilities
Rod handling, core management, and site duties
Complete pre‑shift inspections and basic maintenance tasks
Keep the drill site clean, organized,



and safe
Follow all safety procedures and environmental standards
Support efficient daily production
Communicate clearly with the driller and crew

Requirements

Experience
Diamond drilling experience is an asset, however onsite training is offered to select candidates

Qualifications
Must be a Canadian resident
Current First Aid certification required before starting
Valid Canadian driver’s license is an asset

Skills
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Physically fit and comfortable with demanding outdoor work
Ability to work rotational day/night shifts
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
