We are looking for a dedicated Electric Motor Winder to join our team. This position is responsible for testing, disassembling and rewinding various kinds of electric motors and electromechanical equipment. Also able to know how to remove the original winding, inspecting for winding failure damage, recording data from the original winding, making new coils, winding, and performing voltage testing on standard/basic windings.
Rewind various AC/DC motors, single phase and three ph ase, one speed and multi speed
Knowledge of various connection (Delta, Parallel, Series, Y Connection)
Test and document electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment as found and as left;
Inspect various kinds of electromechanical equipment for winding damage and evidence of electrical malfunctions
Perform burn, strip, clean, construct, assemble, test, dip, VPI, cure and final test steps for coils, stators and generators of the rewind process.
Prepare all reusable parts for rewinding and inspect renewed parts for hidden, structural damage or unusual conditions.




Ability to strip stator or apparatus without damage to core or iron
Rewind coils
Test rewound electromechanical equipment according to quality standards and document test results.

Qualifications and Competencies

Requirements
5 to 10 years' experience rewinding and servicing electric AC and DC motors
Ability to read, write, and comprehend straightforward to moderately complex written and verbal instructions
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
Able to follow basic health and safety procedures and protocols
Good communication skills and writing skills (English)
Ability to understand, perform, and retain various job-related training, operational, and safety procedures
Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and decision-making related to routine duties within set company standards
Ability to work overtime as needed

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
