Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Cook. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in food service, food preparation, and kitchen operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.

Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in the food service sector.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, ensuring consistency and quality
Serve customers efficiently and courteously, maintaining a positive dining experience
Handle food safely and hygienically, adhering to all health regulations
Assist with food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure proper meal preparation




Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Manage inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management

Requirements
Culinary OR Food Service Worker Program Certification is mandatory
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen settings is highly desirable
Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
Skills in serving, food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a quick-paced setting
Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
