About the Role:
Support Workers build meaningful relationships and provide day-to-day support that helps people live their best life. You’ll create secure, positive, and inclusive settings while encouraging independence and connection in the community.
What You’ll Do:
Provide person-centered support based on each individual’s goals and routines
Help with daily living activities (meals, appointments, personal care, etc.)
Foster feelings of safety, respect, and belonging through Gentle Teaching
Encourage choice, growth, and meaningful community involvement
Keep accurate documentation and communicate effectively with your team
What We’re Looking For:
A caring, patient, and respectful approach, where building meaningful relationships is your top priority.
Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, overnights, and weekends.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must provide a clear Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector search upon hire.
Valid First Aid/CPR Level C certification
Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are required.
Previous experience in disability support or human services is considered an asset, but not required—we provide comprehensive training.
Experience supporting individuals who may exhibit aggressive or challenging behaviors.
Transferring, Lifting, and Repositioning (TLR) certification.
