Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Asphalt Ground Person to join our team. This role involves assisting at the Asphalt Plant. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to high-quality paving operations. Prior experience in working around an Asphalt Plant is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
Complete walk around plant in morning to ensure no issues before start up
Once started, must walk around again to ensure no issues
Complete required greasing
Log all maintenance completed
Assist with maintenance of the plant
Assist with unloading of the Asphalt Cement tankers
Discuss all safety issues and being around asphalt plants will all recent drivers loading asphalt
Switch Tars
Receive and document all stock and inventory coming to the plant
Outstanding communication skills,



you are the eyes outside of the plant and must be able to clearly communicate with the plant operator

Requirements
Must have a mechanical experience
Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Robust work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety
Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions
Must be able to work as part of a team
Cannot be afraid of heights

Non Union Position Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
