Job Summary

Global Kids Academy 2 is a preschool and early learning centre (daycare) for children aged 1.5 to 5. We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a secure, nurturing, and engaging learning workplace for young children.

This role involves fostering developmental growth, supporting individual needs, and promoting positive social interactions. Candidates with a passion for working with children and experience in early childhood education are encouraged to apply.

Duties
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
Supervise and interact with children during classroom activities, playtime, meals, and rest periods
Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, ensuring inclusive participation
Maintain a clean and protected classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations




Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and improve program quality
Document children's developmental milestones and behavior observations for ongoing assessment

Required Documents
Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certificate (Level 2 or 3)
Valid First Aid Certificate with CPR
Clear Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Search
