Toddle Inn Day Care Society is looking for a motivated, active and passionate Early Childhood Educator Level 2 or Level 3 for our Non-Profit Daycare!

Toddle Inn Day Care is a non-profit and has been providing child care to surrounding areas for over 45 years. The daycare provides care to children from newborn to 6-years of age.

Qualifications
Child Development Certificate (Level 2 or 3)
Current First Aid
Explicit Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check (obtained in the last 3 months)
Minimum 2 years experience in childcare or related field
Flight training considered to be an asset
Knowledge of Non-profit organizations considered to be an asset

Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of children
Uphold the policies and procedures as well as the program plan in place
Foster a protected and nurturing environment
Effective supervision of children




Communicate effectively with families regarding children's progress and needs
Maintain First Aid Certification and respond appropriately to emergencies
Collaborate and communicate with colleagues to create an inclusive classroom atmosphere
Confidentiality is required for the protection and privacy of staff and families
Utilizing technology for communication with families
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
