We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioural Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with children and adolescents, providing therapeutic support to enhance their emotional and behavioural well-being. This role requires a solid understanding of pediatric care and the ability to learn from a clinical team to implement individualized treatment plans effectively.
Duties
Follow Behaviour Plans of Intervention, based on assessments, to increase the behavioural and emotional skills of children and adolescents.
With the training provided at T&K;, you will utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support behavioural modification.
Collaborate with the T&K; team, parents, caregivers, and educational staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to therapy.
Maintain accurate records of client progress, including data collection and case management documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field preferred, but not required.
Experience working with neurodiverse children in a clinical or educational setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge and/or of applied behaviour analysis terminology considered an asset.
Solid data collection skills for tracking therapeutic progress and outcomes.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams.
