Duties
Act as the main liaison between patients and the dental team, explaining treatment options clearly and confidently
Schedule appointments efficiently using Dentrix practice management software
Verify insurance benefits and assist patients with financial arrangements to ensure smooth treatment processes
Manage multi-line phone systems, respond promptly to inquiries, and provide outstanding front desk support
Maintain accurate electronic medical records using, ensuring confidentiality and compliance
Coordinate with dental providers to confirm treatment plans and follow-up appointments
Handle administrative tasks such as processing payments,
managing patient correspondence, and maintaining office organization
Experience
Previous experience working as a dental receptionist or in a dental office setting is highly preferred
Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental practice management software is essential; experience with Epic is a plus
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and general healthcare
Proven ability to manage multi-line phone systems efficiently in a busy office environment
Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and medical office procedures is advantageous
Excellent organizational skills combined with a friendly, skilled demeanor
Demonstrated ability to handle administrative responsibilities with accuracy and attention to detail
