This position balances hands-on engineering with team management. In this role, you will guide the electrical/electronic engineering team, ensuring the successful qualification, certification, and production of our cutting-edge vehicle technologies.
You will engage with compliance regulations while also managing priorities and project schedules. This hybrid position also emphasizes collaboration between engineering and procurement to ensure part availability aligns with program milestones. Key Responsibilities:
Manage the E/E engineering team's projects and priorities
Lead the lifecycle for device qualification and certification
Ensure seamless design releases and readiness for production
Collaborate with certification bodies on documentation
Monitor component obsolescence and compliance requirements
Requirements:
Over 8 years of experience in electronic engineering
Proven track record in product qualification and compliance
Ability to interpret schematics and BOMs
Effective at managing small technical teams
Experience with Jira, PLM, or similar tools
