In this permanent position, you'll report to the Coordinator of Recreation, ensuring high-quality aquatics delivery in a vibrant community. With at least two years in municipal recreation, your role includes staff leadership, program oversight, and customer engagement. You'll mentor part time staff, assist in training, and ensure compliance with regulations to promote secure aquatic experiences.

Key Responsibilities:



• Support direct aquatics program delivery across multiple facilities • Mentor and train part-time staff and volunteers • Conduct staff evaluations during program delivery • Manage emergency shift coverage as needed • Assist in payroll processing for part time staff

Requirements: • Post-secondary diploma in Recreation & Leisure or related field • Minimum two years in aquatics programming • Current National Lifeguard certification • Experience supervising staff and volunteers • Various additional lifeguard and instructor certifications
