We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team and gain hands-on experience in electrical installation and maintenance. This entry-level position offers the prospect to develop skills in industrial electrical systems, blueprint reading, and construction projects under the supervision of experienced electricians. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in electrical work, a safety-conscious attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow within the field.
Responsibilities
Assist licensed electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support project execution
Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit bending, and equipment installation
Work on low voltage systems as well as general electrical components
Support construction activities related to electrical infrastructure projects
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries during work activities
Requirements
Basic understanding of electrical concepts and systems; prior industrial electrician experience is a plus but not required
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints, and low voltage wiring preferred
Strong interest in construction and electrical work with a desire to learn from experienced professionals
Ability to work safely in various environments, including construction sites or industrial facilities
Positive communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed for project deadlines or job site requirements
Job Type: Full time Pay: $17.50-$37.24 per hour
