Responsibilities
Assist the Office Manager in coordinating daily administrative operations within the dental practice.
Supervise staff, ensuring excellent patient service and effective communication.
Manage appointment scheduling, patient records, and billing processes using Dentrix practice management software.
Support human resources functions including staff onboarding and training
Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
Assist with budgeting,
supply inventory management, and vendor relations to optimize office resources.
Facilitate communication between dental practitioners, staff, patients, and external partners to promote a cohesive work environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience in dental office management, dental assisting or administrative roles within a dental office setting.
Robust proficiency with Dentrix or comparable practice management software and electronic medical records systems.
Knowledge of dental terminology and familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
Prior supervisory experience in a dental office setting, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
Experience with human resources functions such as staffing and training.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
