Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Sprinkler Technician/Fitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems across various commercial and industrial sites. Your expertise will ensure that safety standards are met and that systems operate efficiently and reliably.

Duties
Install, assemble, and fit fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer specifications
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation
Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and testing of sprinkler systems to guarantee optimal performance
Use hand tools, calipers, and other mechanical tools to measure, cut, thread, and assemble piping accurately
Apply rigging skills for lifting and positioning heavy components safely during installation or repairs
Troubleshoot system issues using mechanical knowledge and schematic diagrams to identify faults quickly

Requirements




Valid certification as a Sprinkler Technician or Fitter with relevant industry credentials
Proven experience in manufacturing or construction environments involving plumbing, piping, or fire protection systems
Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics with precision
Skilled in the use of hand tools such as calipers, wrenches, pipe cutters, and measuring devices
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and system layouts
Experience with rigging procedures for lifting heavy components safely
Knowledge of maintenance practices related to fire suppression systems or similar mechanical systems is a plus
Construction experience or background in manufacturing is highly desirable
