Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our energetic dental team from Tuesdays to Saturdays. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the practice while providing exceptional patient care. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for dentistry, and the ability to work collaboratively with both patients and staff.

Duties
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for use.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate patient records using Power Practice

Experience




Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome recent grads who are eager to learn.
Experience with dental software systems (Power practice ) and knowledge of Itero Scanning is a plus
Background in pediatrics or experience as a dental receptionist can enhance your candidacy.
