Generations Cleaning is currently seeking an experienced Cleaning Lead Hand to join our team at a large warehouse facility in Ajax, Ontario.

This is a full-time leadership role for a motivated cleaning professional who enjoys leading by example, maintaining high standards, and supporting the development of cleaning staff.

Position Details
Location: Ajax, ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning duties throughout the facility, including:
Warehouse areas.
Washrooms.
Cafeteria and lunchroom areas.
Offices.
Entrances and common areas.
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to company and client standards.
Assist with training and onboarding new cleaning staff.
Provide guidance, support, and coaching to existing team members.
Monitor cleaning quality and address performance concerns as required.
Communicate supply requirements and submit supply orders to the office.
Report maintenance issues, safety concerns,



and operational needs.
Support site management in maintaining a secure, clean, and organized facility.
Lead by example through professionalism, attendance, and work quality.

Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of commercial cleaning experience.
Minimum 2 years of Lead Hand, Supervisor, or Team Lead experience in a commercial cleaning setting.
Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemicals.
Ability to train, motivate, and support team members.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.
Ability to perform physical cleaning duties, including standing, walking, lifting, and bending throughout the shift.
