Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care and ensuring a smooth and effective workflow in our practice. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Oral Surgery experience and asset but training will be provided. Well compensated subject to experience. No evenings and no weekends.

Duties
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, and surgeries
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after procedures
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
Maintain accurate patient records
Educate patients on post-operative care
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office




Handle administrative tasks including billing, insurance verification, and patient check-in/check-out

Requirements
Previous experience in Oral Surgery as a Dental Assistant is preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
Ability to maintain professionalism in a quick-paced workplace
