This essential role involves leading safety efforts, ensuring compliance, and coordinating infrastructure initiatives. To succeed, the candidate must have significant experience in safety leadership and a deep understanding of facilities management within diverse academic settings. Key Responsibilities:
Champion safety initiatives throughout engineering spaces
Collaborate with Plant Operations for infrastructure needs
Lead shared facility operations and safety programs




Monitor regulatory compliance and performance metrics
Consult on strategic decisions regarding safety and infrastructure

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
7+ years in safety leadership and facility management
Expertise in HSEMS principles and legislation
Ability to manage complex environments and competing demands
Proven leadership in community and relationship-building
