Role Overview

Defron Security Services is expanding its team in Elora, ON and seeking a professional, service‑oriented Concierge who excels at creating a welcoming, protected, and supportive environment. This full‑time position is ideal for an individual who is assistive, eager to help, and communicates confidently in excellent English.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for residents, guests, and visitors, balancing hospitality with strong security awareness.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Reception — Warmly greet and assist residents, guests, and visitors, ensuring a positive first impression
Access Management — Monitor and control entry points, verifying visitors and maintaining building security
Resident Assistance — Support residents with inquiries, directions, amenity bookings, and general assistance
Communication Handling — Answer calls, respond to emails, and relay messages clearly and professionally
Security Awareness — Observe and report unusual activity, support emergency procedures, and maintain a protected environment
Administrative Support — Maintain daily logs, visitor records, and incident reports with accuracy
Vendor & Contractor Coordination — Assist with scheduled service providers,



ensuring proper check‑in and compliance with building protocols

Required Skills & Attributes
Professional Demeanor — Polished appearance, courteous communication, and consistent reliability
Excellent English Communication — Clear verbal and written communication skills
Assistive Mindset — Eager to help, proactive in offering support, and attentive to resident needs
Problem‑Solving — Ability to handle inquiries, resolve minor issues, and escalate concerns appropriately
Situational Awareness — Robust observational skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
Prior experience in concierge, customer service, hospitality, or security is an asset
