Lead high-quality resident care and infection prevention at Extendicare as the Director of Care & Infection Prevention and Control. Collaborate with executive teams to implement essential health services and quality standards. In this full time role, you will report directly to the Executive Director while collaborating with the Director of Care to support exemplary resident care.

Your focus will be on implementing person-centered nursing philosophies, overseeing infection prevention protocols, and ensuring legislative compliance. Your leadership will drive improvements in nursing services and ensure a protected setting for residents and staff. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Executive Director on departmental performance




Plan and implement resident care services
Manage financial and human resources in nursing
Oversee Infection Control monitoring activities
Ensure compliance with clinical standards and quality care

Requirements:
1+ years as a Registered Nurse in long-term care
3+ years in a managerial capacity
Current RN registration required
IPAC education and experience preferred
CPR certification and leadership skills required

Lead vital infection prevention efforts and enhance care delivery within Extendicare's community.
