Responsibilities
Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load, unload, and secure freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
Plan efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel consumption
Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and complete all required documentation accurately
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic automotive repairs or report issues promptly
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries
Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and equipment
Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent appropriate for the vehicle type
Proven experience in commercial driving and freight delivery operations
Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently
Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
Solid organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety procedures
Physical ability to lift heavy freight, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as needed
Prior experience with freight handling or warehouse operations is a plus
