Duties
Measure and prepare roofing surfaces according to project specifications using hand tools and blueprint reading skills
Install aluminum roofing panels, flashing, trim, and accessories with precision and attention to detail
Use hand tools such as hammers, drills, snips, and caulking guns to secure roofing materials effectively
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to ensure efficient workflow on-site
Read blueprints and technical drawings to accurately follow installation plans and specifications
Apply caulking and sealants to ensure watertight finishes and prevent leaks
Maintain a clean work setting by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly throughout the project
Skills
Proficiency with hand tools used in roofing and construction tasks
Prior construction experience, especially in roofing or related trades
Robust carpentry skills for framing, cutting, and fitting materials accurately
Knowledge of caulking techniques for weatherproofing applications
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely over extended periods of time
Experience reading blueprints, technical drawings, or installation guides
Handyman experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility across various repair and installation tasks
