We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Crack Filler & Painter to join our team. We pride ourselves on high-quality craftsmanship, and we need a qualified who understands that the "perfect finish" starts long before the first coat of paint hits the wall.

Core Responsibilities

Surface Preparation & Repair

· Inspect interior and exterior surfaces for cracks, holes, and imperfections.

· Expertly apply fillers, specialized compounds, and caulk to repair drywall, plaster, and masonry.

· Perform professional-grade sanding to ensure all repaired areas are flush and invisible once painted.

· Clean and prep surfaces by removing old paint, grease, and dust to ensure maximum adhesion.

Qualified Painting & Coating

· Apply primers, paints, and stains using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment (HVAC/Airless).

· Execute "cut-ins" with high precision along baseboards, ceilings, and trim.

· Maintain a consistent finish across large surface areas without streaks or lap marks.

· Select the appropriate tools and materials based on the specific substrate (wood, metal, drywall).

Site Management & Safety

· Protect flooring, furniture,



and fixtures using drop cloths and painters' tape.

· Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools are cleaned and stored properly at the end of each shift.

· Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials (solvents, lead-based paint, etc.).

Required Qualifications

· Experience: Minimum of 2 years of skilled experience in crack filling, drywall repair, and painting.

· Technical Skill: Proven ability to match textures and create seamless repairs on various surfaces.

· Attention to Detail: A "sharp eye" for identifying and fixing minor surface flaws that others might miss.

· Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

· Reliability: Strong work ethic with a commitment to arriving on time and meeting project deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
