Job Summary

Duties
Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance about bakery products, including baked goods, cakes, and pastries
Assist with cake decorating and food presentation to enhance product appeal
Prepare and package baked items efficiently while adhering to food safety and handling protocols
Support the kitchen team with food preparation, cooking, and baking tasks as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales area, display cases, and packaging stations




Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety standards to guarantee product quality and safety
Manage stock levels, restock shelves, and assist in inventory counts to keep the bakery well-supplied

Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly desirable
Knowledge of cake decorating techniques is a plus
Solid customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
Basic food preparation and cooking skills; familiarity with baking processes preferred
Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Experience with packaging baked goods for retail sale is advantageous
