Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior IBM DataStage ETL Developer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise ETL solutions using IBM DataStage. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data integration, data warehousing, ETL performance tuning, and relational databases.

Experience in the banking or financial services domain is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL workflows using IBM DataStage (Parallel & Server Editions).

Build scalable and high-performance ETL solutions for enterprise data integration projects.

Optimize DataStage jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Develop and maintain data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from multiple source systems.

Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.

Troubleshoot ETL failures and resolve production issues with minimal downtime.

Create technical documentation, deployment plans, and support knowledge transfer.

Perform data validation,



reconciliation, and quality checks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile development settings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

10+ years of hands-on experience with IBM DataStage (Parallel & Server Editions).

Solid expertise in ETL design, development, debugging, and performance tuning.

Solid understanding of Data Warehousing, ETL architecture, and dimensional data modeling.

Solid experience with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and advanced SQL programming.

Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.

Hands-on experience with job scheduling tools such as Control-M.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
