As an Occupational Therapist (OT) you will develop programs that enable children (age 2‑18) with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to participate in activities to their fullest level. Our clinic-based work in Guildford, Surrey offers a flexible schedule with options for a 4‑day or 3‑day work week, and part‑time or full‑time employment (salary $80,000‑$102,000 per year, prorated for part‑time). We provide relocation allowance up to $5,000, tuition reimbursement, and COTBC registration assistance where eligible.

Responsibilities

- Assess client needs and family priorities as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Complete assessments using tools such as standardized tests, criterion or curriculum‑referenced materials, or checklists
- Develop and implement a treatment plan for each client, based on assessment results
- Develop reports as required
- Consult to Behaviour Analysts who supervise Applied Behaviour Analysis Programs for Children with ASD and other needs
- Work collaboratively with the family and other community professionals
- Maintain knowledge of current evidence‑based practices
- Collect data and make evidence‑based decisions in treatment
- Supervise students pursuing education in Occupational Therapy
- Represent the OT department in Monarch House by contributing to clinical policies and procedures and other centre‑wide visions

Qualifications

- At least 1 year of experience working with children with ASD




- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Experience and familiarity with assessment tools (standardized tests, etc.)
- Knowledge of current research and literature in the OT field
- Member of COTBC / COTO / ACOT or eligible to apply
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to take initiative
- Flexibility in scheduling clients
