We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented experienced Building Maintenance worker / Building Manager to join our team.

Monday to Friday, 8am to 12pm

Key Duties:
Carry out regular maintenance and small repairs (lighting, painting, drywall, pressure washing, snow/ice removal)
Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of the building (garbage, recycling, cardboard)
Assist the Property Manager with notices, communication, and enforcing building rules
Support residents and coordinate work with contractors and trades on site
Handle basic office tasks such as emails, bookings, supply tracking, and incident reports
Perform routine inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance needs are met
Oversee building systems such as fobs, intercom, cameras, and fire panels
Check safety equipment regularly (e.g., fire alarms, generators)
Monitor parking areas and assist with move-ins and move-outs
Help during emergencies and work with emergency responders when required
Be available for after-hours calls if needed

Qualifications:




At least 1 year of experience in building maintenance similar work
Basic hands-on maintenance skills (repairs, cleaning, painting, pressure washing)
Experience working with contractors and trades
Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle conflicts calmly and make sound decisions
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, and basic computer tools
Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Willing to respond to emergencies outside regular hours
Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act is an asset
