Position Overview

As a Carpenter at Northstone Concrete, you will work alongside an experienced team performing concrete formwork and related carpentry tasks. You will learn from skilled tradespeople while contributing to a range of projects from foundations and footings to architectural walls and stairs. This role is physical, hands-on, and suited to someone who takes pride in doing quality work.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in forming and stripping concrete for foundations, walls, stairs, curbs and other concrete formwork.
Work alongside the crew to complete daily tasks safely and efficiently
Set up, assemble, and dismantle form systems
Handle and maintain tools and materials on site
Follow directions from management
Maintain a clean and secure work site at all times




Perform framing and general carpentry tasks as required

What You'll Be Working On
Structural concrete forming and stripping
Architectural concrete forming and stripping
Stair forming and specialized form setups
Constructing ICF foundations

Requirements
Minimum 2 year of experience in carpentry, concrete formwork, framing, or a related trade required
Basic knowledge of concrete forming or carpentry techniques
Physically capable of performing demanding outdoor work
Reliable, punctual, and a team player
Valid driver's license

Assets
Experience in framing or rough carpentry in addition to concrete work
Familiarity with reading blueprints or site drawings
Experience with multiple trades or construction disciplines First Aid certification
