Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Technician to join our public practice accounting firm. In this role, you will prepare financial statements and tax returns for companies, and prepare personal tax returns. Your expertise in various accounting software and systems will help us uphold the highest standards of financial integrity and efficiency.

Responsibilities
Preparing working paper files in Caseware for Financial Information preparation
Preparation of adjusting journal entries
Preparation of T2 corporate tax returns
Preparation of T1 personal tax returns.
Communicating with clients for follow-ups, document requests, and approvals.
GST, T4, T4A and T5018 filings
WorkSafeBC filings

Skills




Proficient at Microsoft excel and word
Knowledge of Caseware is an asset
Attention to detail
Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach.
Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
Positive mindset with a proactive, solutions‑oriented approach.
