Location: Cornwall, ON (with travel throughout Eastern Ontario and occasional out-of-town work)

Job Summary

Perras Distefano Construction & Design Services Inc. is seeking motivated, dependable Carpenters and Construction Workers to join our growing team. We specialize in commercial, industrial, and institutional construction, including pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) projects.

The ideal candidate has experience in commercial construction and enjoys working on a variety of projects in a team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities
Assist with the construction of commercial and industrial buildings
Install structural steel components, wall and roof cladding, insulation, trims, and related building systems
Perform general carpentry and construction duties
Read and follow construction drawings and site instructions
Operate hand and power tools safely
Maintain a clean and organized work site
Follow all company and site safety requirements

Qualifications
Experience in construction
Experience erecting pre-engineered metal buildings is considered a strong asset
Carpentry experience preferred
Ability to work at heights




Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
Willingness to travel for projects when required
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Solid work ethic and positive attitude
