Job Duties

· Prepare food for the events and banquets including preparation of hors d’oeuvres, soups, entrees, vegetables, sauces, gravies, etc.
Ensure that all food remains eye-appealing and replenished throughout the service
Assist with set up and tear down of service area; plate all courses as per menu

· Load and unload company vehicle with prepacked bins of equipment and food etc.
Ensure that correct storage conditions for products such as meats, produce, and dairy are maintained
Assist other cooks as required or extra duties as assigned

Qualifications · A minimum of 3 years industrial cooking and food service experience





· Ability to work independently and with a team, meet time targets, with strong organization skills

· Knowledge of equipment and materials to use / operate used in food preparation areas such as grills, ovens, deep fryers, slicers, steamers and knives

· Solid knowledge of catering service principals, processes, procedures, policies, directives and guidelines

· General physical wellness; ability to stand, lift, move etc. for long periods of time

· Reliable Transportation and valid Class G Driver’s License; a driver’s abstract will be required

· Current Safe Food Handlers Certificate

· Successful Police Check will be required

Job Types: Full-time, Part time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
