Responsibilities
Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing daily classroom activities aligned with curriculum standards
Support students’ learning by providing small group tutoring in subjects such as Math, English,
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence
Help manage classroom behavior and promote organizational skills among students
Use Microsoft Office tools to prepare instructional materials, reports, and progress updates
Communicate effectively with students,
parents, and staff to ensure a supportive educational environment
Support students with diverse needs, including those requiring special education accommodations or assistance with disabilities
Experience
Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred
Classroom experience or tutoring experience demonstrating strong instructional skills
Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable; fluency in both languages is a plus
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and techniques for engaging young learners
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is advantageous
Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic computer skills for lesson planning and documentation
Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities to balance multiple responsibilities effectively
