Duties
Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across regional and cross-border routes between the USA and Canada
Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment, ensuring secure handling of goods
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to guarantee safety compliance
Assist with automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to maintain optimal vehicle performance
Manage freight documentation accurately, including manifests, delivery receipts, and customs paperwork when applicable
Follow all safety protocols,
including proper use of safety gear and adherence to transportation regulations
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and border officials to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly
Qualifications
Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with cross-border or regional routes
Skilled in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling for loading and unloading freight
Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
Ability to operate heavy machinery safely in various environments
Solid organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation processes
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
