We are currently hiring a part time/on-call Janitor to join our Chances Castlegar Team. Evening and weekend availability is a must.
As a Janitorial Staff member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, secure, and welcoming workplace for our guests. If you are detail-oriented, can multitask, and are comfortable working independently, we want to hear from you!
What you will be doing
Adhere to all BCLC, WorkSafe, and WHMIS policies and standards, particularly when working around sensitive information and cleaning chemicals.
Maintain sanitization and cleanliness of the establishment, focusing on all high-touch areas.
Dust and clean various surfaces throughout the establishment.
Dispose of garbage and recycling.
Sweep, vacuum, and mop floor surfaces.
Clean and sanitize machines on the gaming floor.
Maintain cleanliness standards of all washrooms during shifts.
Perform dynamic tasks as required to support operational needs.
What you will bring

Ability to multitask and work independently with direction.
Skilled and responsible conduct.
Flexibility to handle changing tasks as needed.
Ability to successfully obtain a criminal record check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch.
