Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Dairy Farm Worker to join our team and contribute to the daily operations of our dairy farm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of dairy cattle, operating farm machinery, and ensuring the smooth running of farm activities. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic agricultural workplace with a focus on animal care and farm maintenance.

Duties
Assist with milking procedures, ensuring proper handling and hygiene standards are maintained
Feed and water dairy cattle according to specified schedules and nutritional guidelines
Monitor animal health and report any signs of illness or distress to farm management
Operate farm machinery such as tractors, feed mixers, and other equipment safely and efficiently
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on farm equipment and infrastructure
Assist with cleaning barns, milking parlors, and other farm facilities to maintain cleanliness and biosecurity
Help with calf care, including feeding, cleaning,



and monitoring growth progress
Support general farm tasks such as fencing, pasture management, and manure handling

Requirements
Prior experience or knowledge of farm machinery and mechanical systems is preferred
Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly (up to 50 pounds) safely and effectively
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic issues with farm equipment
Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods
Willingness to learn recent skills related to dairy farming operations
Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while working around heavy machinery and animals
Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled shifts
