Role Description The Assistant Manager is a full time, hybrid role based in Calgary, AB, with flexibility for some work from home. This role supports daily operations, including coordinating production activities, monitoring inventory levels, and assisting with scheduling to ensure manufacturing targets are met.

The Assistant

Manager helps oversee quality control processes, supports compliance with safety standards, and collaborates with cross-functional teams such as engineering, logistics, and customer service.

Responsibilities include preparing reports, supporting budgeting and cost-control efforts, and contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and reliability.



The role also involves mentoring team members, addressing operational issues, and helping maintain transparent communication between management and staff.

Qualifications

Operational and supervisory skills, including team coordination, workflow planning, and basic people management.

Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, ideally related to energy, drilling, or technical products.

Strong organizational and administrative abilities, including report preparation, documentation, and data tracking.

Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify process issues, interpret production metrics, and support continuous improvement.

Knowledge of safety standards and quality assurance practices in a manufacturing or technical setting.
